OTC Program: RAMTEC (Robotics Training)

OTC Location: Tri-Rivers Career Center (Marion, Ohio)

While working at Whirlpool in Marion building dryers on the line, Ian Clouse was given the opportunity to take a three week robotics training course at RAMTEC located at Tri-Rivers Career Center. This led him to a new skill set and a new job opportunity. Now, Ian works as a preventative maintenance technician at Jefferson Industries in Marion. 

“The Tri-Rivers/RAMTEC Robotics Tech Training intrigued me. The instructor was so knowledgeable. I learned more in his class in three weeks than I learned in all of my high school and college classes,” said Clouse. “The fact that Marion, Ohio has this resource—with nothing else like it in the country—is amazing to me.”
