Corey Gregory began his career journey when he enrolled in the Adult Cosmetology program at Tri-County Career Center, an Ohio Technical Center located in Nelsonville. By taking this step, he has earned gainful employment at the Royal Hair Parlor in Bloomington, Indiana, and has seen opportunity after opportunity come his way.
“I specialize in color, do makeup in our bridal suite, and work with the leadership team overseeing our mentorship program. I mentor newer stylists in the salon and have become one of the educators. Over the last year, I have gotten to teach classes at both the Paul Mitchell and Aveda schools in Indianapolis,” Corey shared of his exciting career in the industry. “I have designed hair sculptures for multiple avant-garde fashion shows in Bloomington that were fundraising galas for local organizations. To celebrate my first year in the salon, I got to design my own fashion, hair and makeup show, and one of the photos taken was used in a local magazine for our new Salon Ad.”
